IT’S CALLED HOW TO MAKE A POT

This book, HOW TO MAKE A POT, will be coming out in November of 2026 and is available for pre-orders RIGHT NOWWWWW!! LINK FOR PRESALES!! Although the title suggests that this book should find it’s home next to Dog-Grooming for Dummies (second edition) on your bookshelf, it is actually more of a love letter to/prayer of thanks/meditation on the ceramic process (and creative process in general) than a full-on instruction manual. It contains hundreds of pictures but also half a book full of many words and instructional drawings.

The glorious people at Sacred Bones have helped me make this the three dimensional object of my dreams and it feels like every pot I’ve ever made became a book. It’s available in Hardcover and Softcover and she is PRETTTTY. To celebrate the release I’ll be going on a little teaching tour- hopefully I will see you in one of the cities I am planning to visit- more on that soon! In the meantime, go have a look!

P.S. I am VERY proud of this thing; I think it might actually do what I wanted it to do, which of course is a bit of a miracle when you know how much of a wild ride making anything at all can be.
