on the first day of ceramics class in art school over 15 years ago, I met one of my all time best friends and favourite collaborators, Ian Prentice. During our morning rides to class we would exchange our favourite tunes and to get us through long studio sessions, Ian was always making mixes that would help us to create that bananas work that only first year art students can produce (we’re talking period blood and edible self portraits my friends) . A little over a year ago we started a radio show together on the Vancouver based radio station NO FUN RADIO. We usually pick a theme and then let ‘er rip. Below I’ve posted links to some of our mixes in case you’re in need of two hours of studio jams to get you through whatever you’re working on. I hope this carries the hours swiftly.
